The Londonderry School District provides students with opportunities to experience music throughout their education. Through general music, instrumental and vocal instruction, performing ensembles, and enrichment courses, students can discover new interests and continue developing their abilities from elementary school through graduation.
Music education helps students build creativity, discipline, perseverance, responsibility, confidence, and collaboration. These skills support their growth not only as musicians, but also as students and members of their school and community.

Elementary School
Elementary School
Students begin developing a musical foundation through general music and introductory vocal and instrumental experiences. They learn basic musical concepts, explore different ways of making music, and build the confidence to continue.
Middle School
Middle School
Students expand their skills through band, chorus, orchestra, general music, and additional ensemble opportunities. Regular rehearsals and performances help them grow as musicians while preparing them for the wider range of experiences available in high school.
High School
High School
Students can continue through Band, Chorus, Orchestra, Jazz, Color Guard, and additional music courses. Concerts, festivals, community events, athletic performances, parades, travel, and leadership opportunities allow students to apply their skills in meaningful ways.

The high-school music program offers opportunities for students with a variety of interests, experience levels, and musical goals.
Students can participate in Band, Chorus, Orchestra, Jazz, and Color Guard while also exploring music through courses such as piano, guitar, and music theory. Together, these offerings allow students to develop as performers, strengthen their understanding of music, and discover new ways to create and participate.
Whether students have studied music for years or are exploring it for the first time, the program provides opportunities to learn, contribute, and become part of the Lancer Music community.

Music in Our Community
Lancer Music is an important part of school and community life in Londonderry. Students share their work through concerts, festivals, parades, athletic events, community celebrations, and performances beyond New Hampshire.
These experiences allow students to represent their schools, connect with audiences, and take part in traditions shared across generations of Londonderry musicians.
