Lancers arrive in Pasadena, California!

Lancers started getting to the airport as early as 5 AM. Many on the trip flew over the Grand Canyon.

One flight experienced flight crew-initiated "toilet paper races"
(Yes, the airline started this).

After getting settled in their rooms, the band had a two hour practice to prepare for their upcoming Tournament of Roses® and Disneyland parades. Held in a closed parking lot, the band practiced by street light - and sounded great!

After a relaxing (and BIG) dinner, the Lancers had a all-hands meeting. Mr. Soucy (below) reviews the upcoming schedules, and answers questions from the band. Some sections held brief meetings in preparation of the week's events.

Finally, uniforms were checked, followed by lights-out.
